Do you need help with treatment decision-making?

A questionnaire has been designed to help you work out which interventions might be a good fit for your child and family based on your answers to 8 questions. Further filter questions will allow tailoring of options to your needs. You may choose to further explore these options or look for others. Whatever you decide, you should discuss your choices with your health professional before trialling any interventions.

The decision aid starts with a list of 8 questions that help to identify some of your preferences for features of interventions.  For each question, you have a choice of 5 response options. Responses to each question are weighted. For each intervention, a score is calculated, and the ten intervention options scoring the highest (in terms of relevance to your preferences) will be presented.

These results are both displayed on the screen, with links to more information, and also emailed to you where an email address is provided.

 Ready to start?

  1. Respond to each question by clicking the radio buttons that best reflect your feelings about your child’s needs.
  2. Your results will appear below when you hit ‘Submit’. A list of ten interventions with links to additional information will be provided.
  3. You will also be given the opportunity to further filter your results by how much time you have available to commit to therapy, your approximate budget for therapy, and whether you would prefer intervention to take place in your home or in a clinic setting.
